TONIGHT IS THE BEGINNING...
of a 2 show series supported by Michigan Artists including
DETEKTIVE RIOT ,THE BLACK LODGE ...and of course yours truly. We are performing at Lili's 21 in Hamtramck. It starts at 9:00, with a cost of $5, and it's 21 and over.
This is the "Pre-Party" for the October 27th M.A. costume party at the Carriage House in Redford.
There will be some real kick ass costumes, cash prizes and more. It's also a free show.

...MAC's bar was really great. Thanks to all of our friends who came out to strut their stuff, FRONT, and Rus.

5-23-00 - Had a GREAT weekend playing the BEAN MACHINE and THE OLD MIAMI with Crazee Mark, Speedy Gonzales, The Impaler, Motor City Burgers, Cybertribe, and others. Followed it up with a succesful stop at The BLIND PIG tonight. Just got back, and I can't believe it's Tuesday. Hell of a night. Thanks to all of our friends who made these past few shows so special. Next show is June 2nd at Paycheck's in Hamtramck with our good friends DETEKTIVE RIOT and THE BLACK LODGE.

We think you'll be proud to vote for them. Thanks to everyone who came out to the loft and helped us drink some beer. It was fun. ...long, but fun. Next show is the Metro.

3-20-00 - New look, new shows, new pictures. I hope it was worth the wait...

3-19-00 - well well, FINALLY I update the page. SORRY I have been neglecting my responsibility, but we've been SO busy.
FRIDAY night was our BEST SHOW EVER! We have never had so much fun. We want to thank the Motor City Burgers, Juan Valdez Love Machine and Detektive Riot who all played great sets. We also want to thank every single person who was there and supporting the local Michigan music scene. None of us could do it every weekend without you.
Saturday night was kinda crazy. By the time we played, we only had enough time to play like 5 songs. But, we had a good time and we made friends with a great new band called Out By Tuesday. Very professional and very cool.

We have a new list of upcoming shows, and I will be FILLING up the next couple of months so keep checking back. The CD is close to finished. I think we are calling it "Arrival Of The Fisted". It's shaping up so far like this:

We hope to have it available to you in almost every store by early summer.
Thanks for fueling us in everything we do. We are working VERY hard to bring you 100% quality and originality in all aspects of 12Gauge & Nylons.
We are working on bunch of new songs and they are turning out great. We will be playing everything we can at our shows and throwing down like crazy to give you a hell of a performance.

2/29/00 - Oh! a leap DAY. The show at the Metro was great thanks to all of the bands we played with. Biddy's, Dose, Step Kings and R.I.P.
Lacking on the updates, I know. But, we have a new review you can read and our DAM cd's are selling quite well. Looking forward to the St Patty's Day show. How do you like the new menu?

02/23/00 - We had a great time at Studio - X with Darrin. Thanks to Radio-X for letting us promote our stuff, and play our songs. We re recording our last 3 tunes for the cd. ....I can almost hear it! This Friday at The Metropolis will be PACKED!!!

02/11/00 - Wow! I haven't updated this page for a while, huh? WE HAVE A CD FOR PURCHASE!!!Through Mp3.com we have set up a 3 song demo collection. Kind of pricey, but we will add one more song to it. The link is above. Other than that, we have been working HARD on new material and are preparing to go back in the studio. DON'T FORGET ABOUT the 25TH AT THE METROPOLIS!!!!

01/27/00 - The SOCKETsection is FULLY stocked with new pics from 3 out of the last 5 shows we did, and there's more on the way!
We are currently writing new songs. We have enough material for the cd but we want to be able to really mix things up live. We also have 2 more shows booked and are working on a few more.

01/23/00 - We had a great time this weekend. Friday, we got to play with some of the finest bands in Michigan - MAHALO six-d-seven, MAG.44, and THE WORKHORSE MOVEMENT. It was really a good time and we got a really good reaction. ROB even showed up!
Saturday we Played the Bean Machine in Dearborn with DET.RIOT (who we missed. SORRY!), Mark Christopher and THE IMPALER. We had a kind of short set, but we still had fun.
Thanks to all of the bands and venues we've come in contact with. Every person we've met has been MORE THAN COOL, and we really appreciate it. Much love and respect to all of you.

01/16/00 - This weekend was a blast! Thanks to Buddha Fulla Rhymez for having us out to the Token. Everyone out there was great and really showed their support. RESOLUTION in Mt Clemens was a HUGE success. Thanks to the crowd, Scapegoat records, Light Show Bob, The Local Press, Michigan Artists, IMPALER, Mark Christopher, Forge, Scathe, and everyone else who made the show cool.
Really looking forward to Friday the 21st. It will be our biggest show ever, and we have lots of free stuff to give out (including tapes)! If everyone brings 2 people, we can really pack 'em in, and tear it up, so grab a carload!

01/09/00 - Just got done recording 3 more songs. I will have 1 MP3 up this week. They sound REAL good. Bob at Flat Hat Productions did an excellent job with it. Also got a couple more shows coming up this month. Be sure to check them out. SHOWS

12/12/99 - Last night was a truly crazy show. We had a lot of support and made an excellent impression (despite some minor sound problems). We got a great reaction, plus we got to play with 3 kick ass bands. We were invited back on January 21st (and we won't be opening this time!) You can expect us to lengthen our set by at least 10 minutes. I'll have more info on that show, and maybe one sooner show! ...oh yeah, and pictures will be up in the next couple days too.

12/7/99 - got up some fresh pics from Saturday.... <SOCKET>

12/5/99 - The Old Miami. What can I say? There was only about 20 people when we played, and only about 12 of them liked us. Tough crowd. We still had fun and met a lot of people. We can't wait to get back to Flint this weekend.

12/4/99 - OUR FIRST REVIEW! The latest issue of  Jam Rag (which also has an interview with Slipknot) features a review from the IMPALER on the October 29th show at the Millennium A.D.
"12 Gauge & Nylons opened, and did an outstanding job. Not only did they rock, but about 100 people came all the way from Howell to see them."

11/18/99 - We got some airplay this week, and will be getting more (thanks to Jake). We are more ready than ever for the 20th. Check SHOWS for the flyer and map.

10/8/99 - We have been added to the bill on Saturday, NOVEMBER 20th at "Somewhere Else" in Flint. We are opening for World of Hurt and Strikeplate. This show is sponsored by 103.1 FM, Radio X in Flint. We expect a good turnout for this show, and look forward to seeing all of you out there. This place is supposed to be REAL kick ass, and I know the bands are.

10/3/99 - The Millennium A.D. show is CANCELED. WE are trying to replace it with another show, but we have nothing yet. CHECK BACK OFTEN. As soon as I have info it will be here. We ARE playing the Christmas with the IMPALER show at the Old Miami on December 4th. I will have more details as it grows near. Thank you all for the crazy support. We are VERY excited.

9/28/99- Just finishing the website. Not a whole lot of pics yet, but there will be a lot of cool stuff on this site including audio (CANAL) and band pictures, both real and unreal (SOCKET). RANTINGS will be a bbs, or guestbook of sorts. It will be up shortly. If you have any other site suggestions, email us.

Waiting for responses on a few shows in late October. WE WILL RECORD 2 SONGS on October 23rd, and release them just as soon as possible. We will record two or three songs for MP3.com and also put them on a FREE sample cassette. We should have those in a few weeks. Also just put in for some stickers that will also be FREE, featuring the "12Guage Yell" logo.
    A few promotional "coming soon" type flyers have gone out (no doubt the reason some of you are here) and we've had a lot of positive feedback. We plan to do a LOT of giveaway stuff so everyone can have a part in this.

We have 6 songs COMPLETED. This material is the best I've ever taken part in, and I am having fun being challenged.

Thanks a lot for being patient, I will work out the bugs in the site, and have sound up very soon.
